Yearlings from the first crop of champions Gleneagles and Muhaarar are among 501 horses catalogued for the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale, which takes place on August 28-29.

The presence of four yearlings by Gleneagles, who was champion juvenile and won both the English and Irish 2,000 Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes at three, and the same number by Shadwell's champion sprinter of 2015 Muhaarar, illustrate how much the Doncaster sale has grown and developed in recent years.

Tony Williams, managing director of Goffs UK, said: "We believe it is the best catalogue we have put together for the Premier Yearling Sale and we are really looking forward to the sale.

"The catalogue has only gone online but already the reaction we have received is very positive. This will be my third Premier Yearling Sale, but from before my time at Goffs UK, it has been a very well-supported sale across the years.

"The domestic support is unwavering and now the sale has gained international recognition with buyers attending from all over the world."

Laurens, successful in this year's Group 1 Prix de Diane and Prix Saint-Alary as well as in last year's Group 1 Fillies' Mile, was sold at the 2016 Premier Yearling Sale.

Wednesday's Group 3 Molecomb Stakes winner Rumble Inthejungle and Advertise, victorious in the Group 2 July Stakes, head the graduates from last year's sale.

Yearlings by leading first-season sires No Nay Never, Kingman and Bungle Inthejungle are also represented along with the progeny of top-class sires including Sea The Stars, Dark Angel, Exceed And Excel, Acclamation, Oasis Dream, Showcasing, Siyouni, Pivotal, New
Approach, Kodiac, Camacho, Footstepsinthesand, Australia, Iffraaj, Nathaniel, Starspangledbanner, Toronado, Society Rock, Holy Roman Emperor, Bated Breath, Shanghai Bobby and War Command.

Other stallions with their first yearlings selling at Doncaster include Anjaal, Brazen Beau, Cable Bay, Capello Sansevero, Due Diligence, Fountain Of Youth, French Navy, Fulbright, Gutaifan, Hallowed Crown, Hot Streak, Ivawood, Make Believe, Night Of Thunder, Outstrip and The Wow Signal.

The catalogue for the Silver Yearling Sale which takes place on August 30 is also online and features 174 yearlings.
