Study Of Man has seven of his first eight mares covered scanned in foal
Lanwades Stud newcomer by Deep Impact won the Prix du Jockey Club
Prix du Jockey Club hero Study Of Man has had seven of his first eight mares covered scanned in foal.
The five-year-old, who also finished second in the Prix Ganay and Prix d'Ispahan last year, became the only son of Japanese super-sire Deep Impact standing in Britain when he retired to Lanwades Stud in Newmarket for this year.
Among the mares in foal to the grandson of the legendary mare Miesque are Group 1 heroine Lady Jane Digby, a daughter of Oasis Dream who is already dam of five winners with her first five foals, and Almiranta, a daughter of Galileo who is the dam of two Group winners, Alea Iacta and Alyssa, as well as the undefeated Listed winner Aloe Vera, with her first three produce.
Both mares are owned by Lanwades.
Study Of Man is also being supported by many of Europe's leading mare owners, not least his own breeders, the Niarchos Family.
He stands at Lanwades alongside unbeaten Group 1-winning two-year-old and Derby winner Sir Percy, Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint scorer Bobby's Kitten and German Derby winner Sea The Moon, a leading young European sire.
