As travel restrictions mean sales companies have been forced to embrace the online selling of bloodstock, the digitalisation and its globalised nature is epitomised by the sale of multiple Group-winning mare Spinning Memories.

The five-year-old will highlight the Magic Millions Online Sale in Australia, just days after winning the Group 3 Prix du Palais-Royal at Clairefontaine on Thursday. The Pascal Bary-trained filly will be offered as a racing and breeding prospect, forming part of Hong Kong-based owner Mr Pan Sutong's draft of 33 lots from his Australian-based operation, Goldin Farms. The Magic Millions Online Sale will run from June 2-4.

The Goldin Farms draft consists of 13 weanlings (including 11 by former Irish-trained son of Dubawi, Akeed Mofeed), the Group-performing filly Lunar Light and 19 broodmares.

It was a fifth stakes win for the daughter of Arcano in just 12 starts, and a second at Group level.

Originally trained in Ireland by Andrew Oliver for her Qatari-based breeder Mubarak Al Naemi, Spinning Memories won on her debut at Naas before joining the Bary yard for Sutong. She made an instant impact in winning the Listed Prix Matchem on just her second French start.

Last year, she gained a breakthrough Group win in the Prix de Meautry Barriere and was beaten just over a length by Advertise in last year's Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest, earning a Racing Post Rating of 112.

Spinning Memories is out of a grand-daughter to Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup and Beverley D Stakes winner Memories Of Silver, dam of dual Grade 1-winning filly Winter Memories.

Bidding opens at 12pm AEST on June 2 and bidding closes in lot order from 12pm AEST on June 4 apart from Spinning Memories (Lot 131), who will close at 10pm AEST. More details on the sale can be found here.
