There is plenty for potential buyers and bloodstock enthusiasts to get their teeth into this week, and here we select a number of lots who could get Tattersalls Book 1 off to a flyer.

Lot 41
B c Frankel-Attraction
Consigned by Floors Stud

The wonderful Attraction, winner of the English and Irish 1,000 Guineas during a stellar career, has proven equally proficient in the paddocks.

From nine offspring to have made the track, seven have won and her best progeny to date is Elarqam, winner of the York Stakes and a close third in last year's Juddmonte International.

Floors Stud offer a brother to Mark Johnston's high-class runner and this attractive bay Frankel colt should garner plenty of attention. Attraction's year older colt, also by Juddmonte's sire, realised 525,000gns to Phoenix Thoroughbreds last year, while she visited Kingman this time.

Lot 55
B c Highland Reel-Beach Frolic
Consigned by Highclere Stud

A lot who could realise a significant sum of money thanks to the exploits of his Kingman half-brother Palace Pier this year.

Unbeaten in five starts, Palace Pier notched up Group 1 wins in the St James's Palace and Prix Jacques le Marois this summer, and a further update could be added to this colt's page when John Gosden's charge lines up at Ascot in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.

The fifth foal out of the unraced Nayef mare Beach Frolic, he is a real head-turner on the page and as a physical.

Lot 61
B f Showcasing-Bird Key
Consigned by Whitsbury Manor Stud

Showcasing has enjoyed another excellent year with Sussex Stakes star Mohaather and Mill Reef scorer Alkumait leading the way, and Whitsbury Manor offer a brother to the high-class sprinter Tasleet.

The winner of a Group 2 contest and placed in the Sprint Cup and Champions Sprint Stakes, Tasleet is now on Nunnery Stud's stallion roster with his first foals born this year.

Bird Key, a once-raced daughter of Cadeaux Genereux, has produced four winners from six runners, with her three-year-old Showcasing filly Lady Light also finishing third in the Bosra Sham Stakes.

Lot 74
B c Siyouni-Cabaret
Consigned by Norelands Stud

Sire of the moment Siyouni has enjoyed a fruitful time of it with Galileo mares, of which Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe Sottsass is a prime example, and Noreland Stud's colt catches the eye with an intriguing page.

A half-brother to Racing Post Trophy and 2,000 Guineas hero Magna Grecia, this lot is a full relation to National Stakes third St Mark's Basilia, another trained by Aidan O'Brien.

Hailing from the family of Prix Vermeille heroine Pearly Shells and Pearls Or Passion, he should command plenty of interest when going under the hammer.

Lot 91
B c Dark Angel-Choose Me
Consigned by Owenstown Stud

Owenstown Stud could have a potential gem on their hands with this Dark Angel colt, out of the fabulous producer Choose Me and therefore a brother to Queen Elizabeth II Stakes heroine Persuasive.

The Listed-winning Choisir mare has produced six winners from as many runners and, alongside her Group 1-winning daughter, is responsible for Coral Distaff scorer Tisbutadream, placed in the Group 3 Atalanta and Princess Elizabeth Stakes.

Choose Me returned to Dark Angel but did not produce a foal and visited Kingman earlier this year.

Lot 112
B c Dubawi-Danedream
Consigned by Newsells Park Stud

Dubawi and Danedream need little introduction, with Darley's outstanding sire a regular with multi-million pound lots at Tattersalls' premier sale.

Danedream was a top-class mare on the track, with victories in the Arc and King George to name but two top-level triumphs, and this is her second foal by Dubawi, her first being the winning Faylaq.

The daughter of Lomitas produced a Frankel filly called Dreaming Eyes, who sadly died at two, and has another daughter by the dual world champion in training in Japan.

From the family of Pattern winners Venice Beach and Broadway, this colt is a potential headliner on day one.

Lot 148
B f Zoffany-Entreat
Consigned by Highclere Stud

Zoffany enjoyed a breakthrough Group 1 win as a broodmare sire when Tiger Tanaka sprung a minor surprise in the Prix Marcel Boussac at the weekend, and this filly holds an up-to-date pedigree being a half-sister to Commonwealth Cup hero Golden Horde.

Out of the winning Pivotal mare Entreat, the dam of Pipalong Stakes scorer Exhort, Highclere Stud's filly hails from an excellent family which includes champion American filly Serena's Song plus Coronation Stakes winner Sophisticat.
