Roseman, a Listed-winning son of Kingman and second to The Revenant in last year's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, will join the LM Stallions roster from 2022.

Unraced at two, the five-year-old was a five-length winner on his second start for Roger Varian and Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum, before picking up some black type when second to King Of Comedy in the Heron Stakes at Sandown.

Fifth to Sangarius in the Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot, the colt then won the Ben Marshall Stakes at Newmarket by over four lengths from the high-class Century Dream on his final start of the year.

A somewhat unlucky fourth on his return to action in the Queen Anne Stakes, Roseman made amends for his Prix d'Ispahan seventh when a head second to The Revenant on Champions Day, finishing in front of the likes of Palace Pier, Veracious, Lord Glitters, Nazeef and Circus Maximus in the Ascot showpiece on what proved to be the final start of his career.

Bred by Knocktoran Stud, Roseman was picked up by Mick Flanagan for 180,000gns from the Tattersalls December Foal Sale, before being bought by Varian for €650,000 at the following year's Goffs Orby Sale.

He is the fifth foal out of the winning Pivotal mare Go Lovely Rose - a full-sister to top-class miler Immortal Verse - and a half-brother to last year's Vertem Futurity Trophy third Baradar and Prix Minerve runner-up Game Zone.

LM Stallions' Luke Gedge-Gibson said: "Roseman has been purchased by a partnership of breeders and owners who will support him with mares, runners and in the sales ring, with Godolphin retaining an interest in him also.

"We were super excited to be offered him from Godolphin and as soon as he was offered to us we felt he was an opportunity not to be missed. We're thrilled to have him join our roster and provide even more of a range of quality for breeders, which is what we set out to do."

He added: "There are a limited amount of breeding rights available in Roseman and a fee will be announced later, with the aim of making him accessible to all breeders. We think he's a great asset to our roster."

Roseman will join a team that also includes the Grade 3-winning son of Scat Daddy, Legends Of War; 2,000 Guineas runner-up and dual Listed winner Tip Two Win; Windsor Castle Stakes winner Southern Hills; Diplomat, a Group 2 winner on the Flat and also a winner over hurdles; and the durable Group 3 scorer Master Carpenter.
