Japan provided a welcome winner for Ballydoyle at Chester, but Europe and the US are the names of the game as far as a couple of No Nay Never colts on Saturday are concerned.

Both are set to make their debut at Naas, with King Of Bavaria among the runners in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden (1.00).

The colt, out of American mare Enharmonic, was a $300,000 buy from Four Star Sales at last year’s Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

His dam was unplaced in just the one start for John Gosden in a Leicester maiden in the summer of 2013 but is closely related to Dewhurst winner Distant Music, while she is also a half-sister to the dam of Sprint Cup winner African Rose.

King Of Bavaria is set to face nine rivals, the toughest of whom could prove to be Jim Bolger’s homebred Celtic Times, who was beaten just half a length on his debut at Navan last month.

The other No Nay Never juvenile colt set to make his debut on the same card for O’Brien is Pimlico, bought as a foal at Goffs for $360,000 and who contests the Irish Stallions Farms EBF Race (2.05)

Bred by Siobhan O’Reilly, the colt is out of Haafhd’s daughter Gems, making him a brother to 2019 Superlative Stakes winner Mystery Power.

Among his opponents is slated to be Aga Khan homebred Karakoul, from the Johnny Murtagh yard.

Over at Ascot, Godophin homebred Fall Of Rome is set for his debut in the Tote+ Placepots Pay More Novice Stakes (3.05).

The two-year-old colt is by Frankel and the first foal out of Staffordstown Stud Stakes winner Calare, a grand-daughter of Oaks heroine Diminuendo.

Fall Of Rome represents the Charlie Appleby yard and is the mount of James Doyle.

Among his half a dozen rivals is the Tom Dascombe-trained newcomer He’s A Gentleman, a brother to Group-placed juvenile sprint winner Frozen Angel.

By Dark Angel and out of the Verglas mare Cut No Ice, the colt was bred by Yeomanstown Stud and was a £105,000 buy by SackvilleDonald from the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale.

The one to beat in the race could be Mehmas’s son Robasta, who was beaten into second at odds-on on his debut at Yarmouth but was slowly away there and likely to know more this time.
