Four foals by Ruler Of The World to be offered at Fairyhouse
Flat Foal and Breeding Stock Sale takes place on November 9
The catalogue for this year's Tattersalls Ireland Flat Foal and Breeding Stock Sale has been released, with the one-day sale to be held on Friday, November 9 from 10.30.
The entries consist of 228 lots, with 196 foals and 32 mares due to come under the hammer.
Rathasker Stud's first-crop sire Coulsty will be represented by ten foals, while other newcomers with progeny in the sale include Prince Of Lir, Buratino, Estidhkaar, Markaz, Mehmas, Kodi Bear and Pearl Secret.
Ruler Of The World, who recorded his first elite winner when Iridessa sprung a 14-1 surprise in the Fillies' Mile on Friday, has four foals catalogued.
Among them is a half-sister to the stakes-placed Princesse Leila offered by Chapel Lane Bloodstock. Their second dam is a half-sister to the blue hen Korveya, who produced Hector Protector, Bosra Sham and Shanghai, while Korveya's half-sister Proskona is the granddam of top-class juvenile and sire Ultra.
Featured in the mares section is Anqooda, consigned by Derrinstown Stud. The Oasis Dream mare, who has two winners to her name, is a granddaughter of influential broodmare Sarayir, who is noted as the granddam of Wadilsafa and third dam of Group 3 Bahrain Trophy winner Raheen House.
