Darley and France Galop combine to create Darley Series
Three races, including the Prix Morny, form the series
Darley has extended its sponsorship portfolio in France, adding the Group 2 Prix Robert Papin and Group 3 Prix de Cabourg to its long-standing backing of the Prix Morny and Prix Jean Romanet.
The Prix Robert Papin, on July 22, and the Prix de Cabourg, staged a week later, will form part of a newly-dubbed Darley Series, culminating in the Group 1 Prix Morny.
As well as sponsoring the races, Darley will offer an enticing incentive for breeders, with the breeder responsible for this year's Prix Morny winner to be rewarded with a nomination to a Darley stallion up to the value of €10,000.
In the event the same horse takes either the Robert Papin or the Cabourg, that value will double to €20,000, while the winning owners from all three races will be invited to the 2019 Darley stallion parade.
