Drumette, the dam of four-time Grade 1 winner and leading US three-year-old filly Monomoy Girl, will be offered at this year’s Fasig-Tipton November Sale by Gainesway.

The ten-year-old mare will be one of the first mares offered in foal to Mastery, the undefeated Grade 1-winning son of Candy Ride.

A half-sister to Graded stakes winner Drum Major from the family of champion Heavenly Cause, Drumette has produced three winners from as many runners. Her third foal is the Brad Cox-trained Monomoy Girl, undefeated in five Graded stakes starts this year on dirt, including the Kentucky Oaks, Coaching Club American Oaks, Acorn Stakes and Ashland Stakes.

Monomoy Girl has won eight of her nine starts, including on debut as a juvenile on turf, and has earned prize-money of $1.6 million.

Gainesway will also offer Drumette's colt foal by Shackleford at the November Sale.

"We are appreciative of the opportunity to offer such an elite producer as Drumette at our November Sale," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. "Monomoy Girl has established herself as the top three-year-old filly of her generation, making Drumette one of most exciting broodmares to come to public auction this year."

The Fasig-Tipton November Sale will be held on November 4.
