Yet another blue-blooded youngster is set to represent Aidan O'Brien at Naas on Sunday, and it is somewhat noteworthy that Key To The Kingdom is a half-brother to Godolphin's 1,000 Guineas and Irish Oaks heroine Blue Bunting.

Blue Bunting, a daughter of the late American sire Dynaformer and a $200,000 purchase from Fasig-Tipton Saratoga in 2009, shed her maiden tag on her second start at two before striking in Listed company at the backend of the season.

Her claim to fame came when defeating Together in the 2011 Qipco 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket, while she notched further top-level victories in the Irish and Yorkshire Oaks later that season.

Following her retirement, Blue Bunting has produced the stakes-placed Street Cry gelding Blue Creek and the winning Flag Festival, a son of New Approach.

She has a two-year-old filly by Sea The Stars, who was exported to France, a yearling colt by the late Shamardal and produced a filly by Frankel this year. The 12-year-old visited Too Darn Hot this season.

The Galileo-sired Key To The Kingdom is the 11th foal out of the unraced Linamix mare Miarixa, herself a full-sister to the Group-placed stayer Mister Kick, and a full-brother to Exemplar, third behind dual Classic winner Capri in the 2016 Beresford Stakes.

Among his rivals in the mile Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden (1.00) is his once-raced stablemate King Of The Castle, a full-brother to this year's Derby winner Serpentine, and Taipan, a 500,000gns Frankel half-brother to Group 3 scorer Brad The Brief.
