Tony McEvoy readies his Magic Millions Carnival hopes at Doomben trials
Zoustar colts have quiet hit outs ahead of tilt at $2 million Gold Coast Classic
In Wednesday's edition of ANZ Bloodstock News, Tony McEvoy put a pair of Zoustar colts on trial at Doomben as the expert handler starts to assemble his team of juveniles for the lucrative Magic Millions Carnival in January.
Elsewhere, Widden and Cambridge Stud featured among a brigade of international buyers at the Tattersalls December Mare sale, while Eagle Farm, the centrepiece of the Queensland thoroughbred industry which has been plagued by problems after a bungled upgrade more than two years ago, passed its first test ahead of a planned return to racing later this month.
