Coolmore will bid to stamp US Navy Flag's dual hemisphere credentials after this year's July Cup (Gr 1, 1200m) winner arrived in Sydney ahead of the Everest (1200m).
Merchant Navy has already demonstrated the operation's ability to successfully campaign horses in both hemispheres after the son of Fastnet Rock (Danehill) took out the Diamond Jubilee Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) at Royal Ascot in June.
