Wigan 6-1 for the drop after stunning Gunners
WIGAN gave their hopes of avoiding relegation a huge boost after a superb 2-1 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates on Monday.
A stunning run of form – Roberto Martinez's side have won four of their last five matches – means the Latics are 1-10 with bet365 to remain in the Premier League next season and 6-1 to go down.
Though embarrassing, the defeat by no means spells disaster for the Gunners, who are 1-5 from 1-20 for a top-four finish.
Hills offer 4-7 that Arsenal win the race to finish third, with the club's north London rivals Tottenham rated6-4. Chelsea are 11-1 to finish behind Manchester United and Manchester City.
Wigan's triumph was bad news for drop-zone rivals QPR, Bolton and Aston Villa, who are 3-4, 6-5 and 11-1 to go down.
