LEE WESTWOOD is 10-1 with Boylesports to card a 59 next year (European, PGA Tour and WGC events only) after shooting a 12-under par 60 on day one of the Thailand Golf Championship.
Westwood, a 5-1 favourite in the betting before the off at Amata Spring Country Club but now no bigger than 2-7, leads John Daly by five shots with Gregory Bourdy and Thaworn Wiratchant three further strokes adrift. Masters champion Charl Schwartzel and Simon Dyson are in a group of 11 on three under.
Schwartzel is Westwood's nearest rival in the betting at 12-1, with Daly at 16-1, Bourdy at 25-1 and Dyson and Wiratchant at 33-1. Thongchai Jaidee and Ryo Ishikawa, who both carded 70s, are 40-1 shots.
Ian Poulter is now 7-2 favourite in the Australian Masters betting after carding a six-under par 65 on day one to holda one shot lead over Ashley Hall.
World No. 1 and European and PGA Tour money-list winner Luke Donald is Poulter's nearest rival in the betting at 9-2 after a 69, the same score as 12-1 Greg Chalmers.
Richard Green(68), Jarrod Lyle (67) and John Senden (70) are 16-1 shots and then it is Geoff Ogilvy (70) at 20-1.
Both bet365 and Boylesports are betting on whether or not a 59 is carded by anyone next year.
Bet365 go 1-5 that there is not one of the European Tour and 8-15 that there is not one on the PGA Tour.
Boylesports offer 3-1 for a PGA Tour 59 and 4-1 for a European Tour 4-1.
Boylesports have chalked up 50-1 for a 59 specifically in a Major next year.
