Webb 1-2 to ref Kiev final after England Euros exit
PENALTY misses for Ashley Young and Ashley Cole could be seen as good news for one Englishman with Howard Webb odds-on favourite to referee the final after the Three Lions were eliminated at the quarter-final stage in a dramatic shootout to Italy.
Webb is 1-2 with BetVictor to add to his World Cup final honour and officiate in Kiev as bookmakers believe the experienced arbiter is by far the most likely arbiter to take the showdown.
Damir Skomina comes next in the betting at 11-4, while Cuneyt Cakir and Stephane Lannoy are both available to back at 6-1. Italian Nicola Rizzoli has drifted to 10-1 following the Azzurri's advancement to the semi-final stage, while Pedro Proenca is at 12-1.
