Walcott and RVP 2-1 to remain clubmates

THEO WALCOTT is 2-1 with Ladbrokes to still be playing at the same club as Robin van Persie at the end of the summer transfer window.

At the moment, of course, that club is Arsenal.

But van Persie is currently refusing to sign a new contract and debate is raging within the powerbrokers at the north London outfit over whether to sell him or let his contract run down.

And there has been press speculation - before and after this news - that Walcott's Gunners future is linked to whether RVP stays.

Walcott is also 2-1 with Ladbrokes to have left Arsenal by September 1 (1-3 to remain at the Emirates) who make Juventus and Chelsea 6-1 joint-favourites in their next club betting. Tottenham and PSG are chalked up at 8-1 and Manchester City and Liverpool are 16-1 while Manchester United are 20-1.

Manchester City are 4-7 favourites in Ladbrokes' list on RVP's next club with Juventus, who have reportedly had a bid turned down, and Barcelona at 4-1. The Red Devils are 6-1 shots with Chelsea at 10-1 and Real Madrid at 12-1.
