3-1 Stoke top last-to-win in Premier League list
NINE Premier League teams remain without a win this season and Stoke are rated the 3-1 favourites with Paddy Power to be the last team to taste victory.
Stoke, with just one win in 15, have a couple of horrible looking fixtures on the horizon with matches against champions Manchester City tomorrow and then a trip to Chelsea.
That’s followed by a home contest with Swansea and then away trips to Liverpool and Manchester United so it is imperative that Tony Pulis gets his side off the mark soon.
Liverpool and Tottenham – 20-1 and 33-1 respectively – have been the surprising slow starters although judging by Power’s quotes the misfiring duo can expect to return to the winners’ enclosure sometime fairly soon.
Other teams to feature prominently in the betting include Norwich at 10-3 and big-spending QPR, who host Chelsea tomorrow, at 4-1.
It is sure to be a passionate atmosphere for the Loftus Road derby given the events of last season’s match and Hills are betting on whether the two teams shake hands.
It’s 4-11 they do go through the pre-match rituals and should that happen it is 6-4 John Terry and Anton Ferdinand bury their differences.
The three points are far more important than whether the two teams shake hands as Chelsea look to maintain their 100 per cent start to the Premier League campaign.
The Champions League holders, who begin the defence of their title against Juventus on Wednesday, can be backed at 7-4 with Paddy Power to stay unbeaten the longest in this term’s Premier League in a market headed by 4-6 favourites Manchester City.
Meanwhile the Citizens have been boosted by Kun Aguero’s return to training from a knee injury.
Arsenal (4-1), Swansea (20-1), West Brom (33-1), Sunderland (33-1) and Stoke (80-1) are also still unbeaten but only the Gunners can harbour serious intentions of going on a long run without losing.
