ARSENAL asserted their place as top dogs in north London in Saturday's lunchtime Premier League fixture with a 3-0 win over Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium.
Two goals from Robin van Persie either side of a solo strike from Cesc Fabregas were enough to seal the points for the Gunners and they who move ahead of Manchester United into second place in the Premier League tables as the whistle blows for the start of the afternoon fixtures.
Stan James reacted to the Gunners' emphatic win by cutting them to 7-2 in title betting with Spurs shunted out to 80-1 after what was a thorough beating.
Spurs will lose fourth spot if either Liverpool or Aston Villa pick up wins and could be as low as seventh by the time Manchester City's clash with Birmingham comes to a close on Sunday afternoon.
