Sigurdsson 4-6 to beat last season's goal tally
GYLFI SIGURDSSON made an immediate impression on his Tottenham debut, scoring in a pre-season success at Stevenage, and bet365 are predicting the new Spurs recruit will make a strong impact over the course of the new season.
The attacking midfielder scored seven goals on loan at Swansea last term and he is 4-6 to beat that tally in the Premier League in 2012-13, while Sigurdsson is 100-1 with Blue Square and Betfred to claim the Golden Boot.
Sigurdsson chose Spurs over a move to Liverpool and the London club are 4-5 with bet365 to finish above the Merseysiders and it’s 11-4 that Tottenham pick up a trophy in the campaign.
As expected, new Tottenham chief Andre Villas-Boas will have to do without defender Ledley King, who announced his retirement from the sport following a number of injury problems which dogged his career.
