Russia 14-1 for title after thrashing Czechs
RUSSIA got off to a flying start last night with a 4-1 demolition job
over Czech Republic in Wroclaw.
Alan Dzagoev scored twice while Roman Shirokov and
Roman Pavlyuchenko were also on target for Russia, who were cut into 14-1 to win the tournament from 20-1 available yesterday morning.
However, Russia striker Aleksandr Kerzhakov, who has been well backed for the Golden Boot, had an absolute shocker missing chance after chance before his side put the game out of reach.
Vaclav Pilar netted for the Czechs, who have been pushed out to 200-1.
