READING were confirmed as Championship title winners despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace at the Medejski Stadium.
The point was enough to lift the Royals four points above
second-placed Southampton, who were defeated 2-1 at play-off chasing Middlesbrough.
Southampton’s failure kept the door to the automatic promotion places ajar for West Ham, who visit mid-table Leicester tomorrow night.
Coventry and Portsmouth were relegated to League One.
