Purring Barney still 6-1 to inflict first Power loss

PHIL TAYLOR has reduced Barney to rubble more times than he cares to remember but the Dutch darting titan reckons it’ll be different in Sheffield on Thursday night.

Raymond van Barneveld warmed up for his Premier League showdown with The Power by averaging a stunning 112 in a thrilling victory over Kevin Painter last week.

Barney’s still the 6-1 outsider to inflict a first defeat of the campaign on Taylor but he’s still having a better Premier League than Gary Anderson who features in a double-header against James Wade and Andy Hamilton.
