Punter scoops jackpot as classy Ward tames Froch

ANDRE Ward produced a sensational performance to beat Carl Froch on points in Atlantic City on Saturday night.

The fight was the final of the Super Six Series, and Ward’s
victory was great news for one Hills punter who staked £3,000 at 10-1 on Ward winning the tournament two years ago.

Hillsmake Ward 1-8 to win any rematch taking place next year, with the Cobra offered at 9-2.

“It is difficult to see how Froch can beat him so a rematch looks
unlikely,” said Hills spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Kell Brook eased the pain for British fight fans by stopping Luis Galarza in the fifth round on the undercard.
