Promoted Owls 25-1 to win Championship title
THE majority of promotions and relegations in the Football League had been decided before Saturday’s fixtures but Sheffield Wednesday ensured that they will be playing Championship football next season.
The Owls beat Wycombe 2-0 at Hillsborough to seal second place in League One, one point ahead of Sheffield United, and they are 25-1 with Ladbrokes to win the Championship and 8-1 to be promoted next term.
Crawley are 16-1 with Coral to win League One next season after completing their second successive promotion.
Hereford slipped out of the Football League, however, after their
relegation rivals Barnet won 2-1 at Burton, and the Bulls are 4-1 with Coral to bounce straight back with promotion from the Blue Square Bet Premier. They are 8-1 to win the fifth-tier title in 2012-13.
