Prem top five 4-6 to end up in the same positions

THERE is plenty of debate as to how the Premier League table will look come the end of the final round of matches and ifCoral’s odds are correct then the top five will finish as it started.

It’s 4-6 that Manchester City win the championship from neighbours
Manchester United, with Arsenal grabbing the only other guaranteed
Champions League position of third. That would leave Tottenham
sweating on Chelsea not beating Bayern in Munich and Newcastle left to miss out totally in fifth place.

At the summit it looks a case of how far rather than if City win the
league with Roberto Mancini’s side 1-8 to claim the title and 4-7 with
bet365 and Betfred to do so via goal difference.

United, who were 2-1 ante-post favourites at the startof the season
to retain their crown, are now 13-2 as they require help from
relegation-threatened QPR to stand a chance of becoming champions. Sir Alex Ferguson’s men must first beat Sunderland at the Stadium of Light and bet365 go 11-10 the two Manchester clubs score at least six goals in their final fixtures.

The most likely change in league positions is Spurs to grab fourth and
push north London rivals Arsenal down to fourth which is at11-4,
while Newcastle can be backed at 9-2 for a top-four finish but Alan
Pardew’s men are also 1-6 with Paddy Power to finish fifth. Spurs are
5-1 in that heat with Arsenal trading at 9-1.

There could still be some glory to be had for Newcastle this term with
Papiss Cisse’s wonder strike at Chelsea evens with Hills to be voted
Match of the Day’s goal of the season. Peter Crouch’s sensational
volley for Stoke against City is available at the same price.

Stoke will play their part in the relegation battle when they host
Bolton, who are 2-5 to go down, while QPR can be backed at 9-4 to fall through the trapdoor.
