Power 1-2 to regain Prem title after crushing Wade
THERE’S a grandstand finish to the Premier League darts season on Thursday – though they might as well give Phil Taylor the title now after yet another masterclass.
The Power is 1-2 to regain his title while Simon Whitlock, the only other guaranteed semi-finalist, is available at 13-2.
But then it’s perm any two from five for the other two play-off places which will be decided in Newcastle next week. Adrian Lewis is 7-1 third favourite and in the box seat to join the other two qualifiers though James Wade, Raymond van Barneveld, Andy Hamilton and Kevin Painter can still make it.
Taylor, however, looks invincible after a crushing 8-1 win against James Wade in Liverpool on Thursday, when he averaged an incredible 116.10.
