Portugal popular after sending Dutch packing
PORTUGAL have been slashed to 15-2 to win Euro 2012 from opening quotes of 25-1 after they qualified behind Germany in Group B.
Cristiano Ronaldo was the hero, scoring both goals in the 2-1 win over Holland, who finished bottom of the section with no points which had been a 40-1 chance. Rafael van der Vaart briefly put the Dutch ahead but Portugal came through and will meet Czech Republic in the quarter-finals.
Germany have shot back to tournament favouritism at 12-5 after setting up a last-eight date with Greece following their 2-1 triumph over Denmark. Lukas Podolski and Lars Bender were on target for Joachim Low’s side.
