Paris queen Sharapova 7-2 for Wimbledon win
MARIA SHARAPOVA chalked up a 6-3 6-2 win over Sara Errani in the women's final at Roland Garros on Saturday to record her first Grand Slam success for more than four years and bringing up the complete set.
The Russian was 8-1 third-favourite at the start of the tournament but
was just 2-7 to win the final against Italian Errani, and 8-11 to win
in straight sets.
The match produced two winners out of two for RPSPORT with advice on under 20.5 games and Sharapova to win the first service break.
Errani was a 150-1 shot at the outset but is 20-1 with Hills to win Wimbledon after her run to the final in Paris. Sharapova is 7-2 for
the All-England title.
