Nadal cut for French Open after Rome win
RAFAEL NADAL was cut to best-priced 5-6 to retain his French Open crown at Roland Garros after his comprehensive victory over world No. 1 Novak Djokovic in Monday's delayed Rome Masters final.
The Pearl of Manacor's victory was doubly important as it not only gave his sixth Rome crown, but it also moved him back to No. 2 in the rankings.
This means he will definitely be in the opposite half to Djokovic when the draw is made for Roland Garros later this week and therefore will avoid the Serb unless both players reach the final.
