Nadal 3-1 to end career with ten French titles

RAFAEL NADAL became the most successful player in the history of the French Open on Monday after beating Novak Djokovic to win his seventh title in what was Betfair's biggest ever market.

Over £56m was traded on the exchange during the final to make it the largest ever market in terms of volume of money. The record was previously held by the marathon clash between Roger Federer and Andy Roddick at Wimbledon in 2009.

The Pearl of Manocor is 8-11 with bet365 to win ten or more French Open titles by 2020 and evens to end up with nine or fewer.

However, Ladbrokes view his chances of reaching double figures dramatically differently, offering 3-1 that he wins at least three more before the end of the decade. Boylesports offer 11-10 that he wins next year's tournament.

Despite conquering Djokovic 6-4 6-3 2-6 7-5 the Majorcan man mountain faces a tough task to add to his Grand Slam haul this year and bet365 offer 8-1 that he ends the year with three major titles.

It's 5-4 with Boylesports and Hills that world No. 2 Nadal meets world No. 1 Djokovic in the Wimbledon final, with the Serb a best-priced 2-1 with Blue Square, BetVictor and Paddy Power for glory in the grass-court event.

Djokovic missed out on the chance to hold all four Grand Slam titles at one time and he is 16-1 with Boyles to win the quartet of trophies in a row during his career.

It is 1-3 that he eventually wins Roland Garros.
