Murray into Miami final as Nadal pulls out

RAFAEL NADAL has withdrawn from his Sony Ericsson Open semi-final with Andy Murray due to a knee injury.

Nadal defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-2 5-7 6-4 in the quarter-finals but struggled with an injured left knee and said afterwards: "I have to recover well and improve my knee if I really want to have any chance to win. If not, it's going to be almost impossible."

Murray will now face either Novak Djokovic or Juan Monaco in Sunday's final.
