Match Play favourites there to be shot at

The action is set to be red-hot in the Arizona desert over the coming five days as the cream of the golfing world tee it up in the Accenture Match Play.

Rory McIlroy heads the market from previous winners Luke Donald, who claimed the title 12 months ago, and Tiger Woods, and nearly all the top 64 in the world are lining up, with Phil
Mickelson the most notable absentee.

Despite the recent successes of Donald and Woods this tournament has thrown up its share of surprises.

Ian Poulter (28-1) and Henrik Stenson (33-1) have triumphed during the last five years while Geoff Ogilvy has twice been victorious, at 25-1 in 2009 and a whopping 150-1 in 2006, and

RPSPORT golf guru Steve Palmer reckons the big names may be put in the shade again.
