Master Robertson 10-1 for more Crucible glory

NEIL ROBERTSON has vowed not to turn apathetic again in the wake of his Masters triumph on Sunday night.

Aussie ace Robertson, who swept past Shaun Murphy 10-6 in the
Alexandra Palace final, saw his form suffer after he won the
Betfred.com World Championship in 2010 and his commitment levels declined.

The world No. 4 admitted: “I completely took my foot off the pedal
after winning at the Crucible in 2010. It was also a little bit of
laziness on my part, not going to the club when I should have done.
That’s all changed now and I’ve learnt from that.”

Robertson is a 10-1 chance with the Crucible sponsors to regain the
world crown after extending his record in important finals to seven
wins in as many matches.

Bet365 reported a poor tournament with 12 out of 13 favourites
obliging in the first round, quarter-finals and final. The semi-final
defeats of Judd Trump and Mark Selby were welcomedwith relief by the firm.

Trump is 11-2 favourite for the Sheffield spoils in April with current king John Higgins at 7-1 and Ronnie O'Sullivan and Selby at 8-1.
