Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is under pressure after a 5-1 defeat
Knives out for McCarthy after derby defeat
Mick McCarthy is 8-13 to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job after he saw his Wolves team thrashed 5-1 by West Brom at Molineux on Sunday.
Peter Odemwingie scored a hat-trick for the Baggies, who could have been dragged into the relegation battle by a Wolves win but are now eight points clear of their Black Country rivals.
Wolves, meanwhile, slipped into the bottom three on goal difference and are 4-6 for the drop.
McCarthy was subjected to a chorus of boos throughout the closing stages and BetVictor have already priced up his successor at Molineux, making Rafa Benitez their 6-1 favourite in an extremely open market.
