Spain 9-5 for title after Alonso sinks France
TWO goals by Xabi Alonso were enough for Spain to secure a 2-0 win over lacklustre France in a poor Euro 2012 quarter-final in Donetsk.
The holders are top-priced at 9-5 joint-favourites with Paddy Power but are market leaders with most bookmakers and are offered as short as 6-4 by Blue Square, Coral and Hills.
Spain face Portugal in Wednesday's first semi-final in Donetsk and are 20-21 with Boylesports for that clash, with Cristiano Ronaldo's side 4-1 shots to win in 90 minutes.
