Haye 4-9 to win battle of bad boys at Upton Park

DAVID HAYE is a 4-9 favourite to triumph when he and fellow British heavyweight bad boy Dereck Chisora get it on in the ring at Upton Park on July 14.

The Luxembourg Boxing Board of Control has sanctioned the bout as the British Boxing Board of Control withdrew 9-4 Chisora's licence after their disgraceful brawl at the press conference following Chisora's defeat to Vitali Klitschko in February.

Chisora, who had slapped Vitali at the weigh-in for their WBC heavyweight championship clash and then spat in brother Wladimir Klitschko's face during the introductions, is also banned indefinitely by the WBC from fighting for one of their belts.  He has also lost bouts in the last ten months to Robert Helenius and Tyson Fury.

Haye hung up his gloves in the aftermath of his July loss to Wladimir in Hamburg when the WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO and The Ring heavyweight titles were up for grabs. A toe injury picked up in training was blamed for a disappointing performance in surrendering the WBA belt.
