Hammers go odds-on for Premier League return

WEST HAM are odds-on across the board to gain promotion from the Championship after beating Cardiff 2-0 in their play-off semi-final first leg in Wales.

Jack Collison's double was the difference between the sides and the Hammers are 5-6 having been available at 9-5 before the start of the play-offs. Cardiff are out to 22-1 with bet365 to gain a spot in next season's Premier League.

Birmingham and Blackpool meet in the other semi-final and can be backed at 3-1 and 7-2 respectively, while Sam Allardyce's West Ham are 1-14 to reach the Wembley final with the Bluebirds at 7-1.
