GB drift after late Senegal equaliser
TEAM GB were denied a winning start to their Olympic campaign at Old Trafford on Thursday night by an 80th-minute equaliser from Senegal's Moussa Konate.
Wales's Craig Bellamy had put the home side in front on 20 minutes registering GB's first goal since the 1960 Olympics, and it was a chance which was created by the side's three overage players.
GB were pushed out slightly in the betting following the result, which was a fair reflection of the match, and they can now be backed at 14-1 to win gold.
They are 11-4 to win Group D behind 8-13 shots Uruguay, who came from behind to beat UAE earlier in the day.
Senegal are 11-2 to win the group and 40-1 for gold. GB are next in action on Sunday, when they face UAE.
