RIKI FLUTEY has been passed fit to return to the England squad for Sunday's Six Nations clash against Italy.

The centre was ruled out of Saturday's opening match against Wales, which ended in a 30-17 victory for his team, with a thigh injury sustained in training, but will play in what is anticipated to be a comfortable victory over the Six Nations whipping boys in Rome.

Toby Flood, who played at centre at Twickenham, is likely to make way for Flutey but manager Martin Johnson will be keeping changes to a minimum after such a good start.

Captain Steve Borthwick has missed training this week due to illness, but is hoping to have recovered in time for the trip to Rome.

England are 3-1 third-favourites for the Six Nations behind 5-4 chances France and holders Ireland at 5-2.
