Firestone-victor Bradley 40-1 to keep USPGA title
KEEGAN BRADLEY is no bigger than a general 40-1 to defend his USPGA title this week after storming from six shots back with 13 holes to play on Sunday to sneak the WGC Bridgestone Invitational spoils by a stroke on 13-under from Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker.
Tiger Woods, who finished tied for eighth at Firestone after weekend rounds of 68 and 66 meant a four-under par total, is a standout 10-1 favourite in the betting with Blue Square to triumph in the final Major of the year at Kiawah Island.
World No. 1 Luke Donald and 2011 US Open champion Rory McIlroy are next in the lists. Donald is 20-1 with Coral to claim his first Major while McIlroy is 21-1 with Blue Square.
Lee Westwood can be backed at 26-1 with Blue Square to break his Major duck after a string of high-finishes in the last few years in all the big ones while big-hitting Dustin Johnson is 30-1 to make his breakthrough after featuring in the final group on several occasions.
Jason Dufner, who maintained his magnificent run of form with seventh spot at Firestone on six-under, is available at 33-1 and Adam Scott, so close to success at Royal Lytham last month, at 67-2 with Blue Square edges the men - Louis Oosthuizen, Bubba Watson, Justin Rose, Matt Kuchar, Phil Mickelson and Webb Simpson - alongside Bradley at 40-1 in the list.
Ossthuizen, the 2010 Claret Jug-winner, was fourth at Akron on 11-under while Rose shared fifth with McIlroy on eight-under and Kuchar was eighth with Woods, Donald and five others.
2010 US Open champion Graeme McDowell is 45-1 with BetVictor and then at 50-1 are Steve Stricker, Hunter Mahan, Zach Johnson, Furyk, Padraig Harrington and Rickie Fowler.
Royal Lytham victor Ernie Els and 2010 Masters-winning compatriot Charl Schwartzel are both 66-1 shots.
