Everton cut to 14-1 for Capital One Cup
EVERTON have been cut from 16-1 to 14-1 with Coral to win the Capital One Cup as a result of being drawn at home against League One outfit Leyton Orient in the second round.
The seeded draw pulled out no all-Premier League ties, while top-tier clubs with European commitments don't enter the competition until the next round.
Ladbrokes have cut QPR and Aston Villa from 33-1 to 25-1 after they secured second-round home ties against Walsall and Tranmere respectively.
Elsewhere, League One side Scunthorpe's reward for their remarkable win over Derby on Tuesday night, which included two goals in injury-time to take the game into extra-time and then penalties, is a trip to Premier League side Norwich. Northampton, who knocked out last season's finalists Cardiff, will hope to cause another upset when they take on Wolves at home.
Second-round draw: Preston v Crystal Palace, Watford v Bradford, Swansea v Barnsley, Yeovil v West Brom, Coventry v Birmingham, West Ham v Crewe, Doncaster v Hull, Carlisle v Ipswich, Reading v Peterborough, Sheffield Wednesday v Fulham, Leicester v Burton, Burnley v Plymouth, QPR v Walsall, Stevenage v Southampton, Nottingham Forest v Wigan, Stoke v Swindon, Aston Villa v Tranmere, Crawley v Bolton, Gillingham v Middlesbrough, Northampton v Wolves, Everton v Leyton Orient, MK Dons v Blackburn, Leeds v Oxford, Sunderland v Morecambe, Norwich v Scunthorpe.
