England eased to 12-1 for summer glory under Roy

BOYLESPORTS have shoved England out to 12-1 for Euro 2012 glory in the immediate aftermath of Roy Hodgson's confirmation as Three Lions manager on Tuesday afternoon.

Hills have chalked up a market on the year Hodgson leaves the England manager. The favourite is 2016 at 5-2 with 2014 at 11-4 and 2017 at 7-2 or later. A 2015 departure is 5-1 and a 2013 exit is 11-2. Failure to see out the year is 14-1.

Bet365 go 13-8 that Hodgson's first win in Poland and Ukraine this summer comes in game one against France. It is 2-1 to come against Sweden in game two and 5-1 in gamethree against Ukraine. None of the above is 7-2.

With no captain named at the Wembley unveiling press conference, but plenty of smiles at questions over his choice of leader, Steven Gerrard is 6-4 favourite with Coral to be named skipper against France. Coral also go 2-1 Scott Parker and 7-2 Joe Hart. BetVictor though make Parker their 10-11 favourite (Gerrard 11-8) while Paddy Power are 9-1 about Hart.
