England backed to wrap up second Test early
ENGLAND survived a few scares to beat the West Indies by five wickets in the first Test at Lord’s but bookmakers expect a smoother ride for the hosts at Trent Bridge this week.
Andrew Strauss’s men are no bigger than 1-3 to claim a win that would seal victory in the three-match series and Hills think England could wrap things up early in Nottingham.
The firm go 6-4 – from 2-1 – that the match finishes on day four,
while it’s just 4-1 that it ends on the third day.
Stuart Broad was England’s hero in the first Test and Blue Square make him 9-1 to claim back-to-back man of the match awards. Captain Andrew Strauss, who scored 122 in the win at Lord’s, is 9-2 to top-score for England in the first innings.
