Early support for Kimi to enjoy Shanghai success

THE FORMULA ONE season continues in China on Sunday after a three-week break.

And while constructors championship pacesetting McLaren duo Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button are the men to beat according to bookmakers, Hills report early money for Kimi Raikkonen to enjoy Shanghai success first at 22-1 and then at 20-1.

Hamilton, third in both races so far in Australia and Malaysia but pole-sitter in both, is the 9-4 race-favourite with Button, the Melbourne victor, at 11-4.

Back-to-back drivers champion Sebastian Vettel is 5-1 to claim his first chequered flag of the campaign while Fernando Alonso is 14-1 to add to the Sepang spoils of last month.

Hamilton heads the fastest qualifier betting at 5-4 with Button at 4-1 and Vettel at 7-1. Then it is Mercedes duo Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg at 12-1 and 14-1 respectively. Vettel's Red Bull teammate Mark Webber is also 14-1 and Raikkonen is 16-1. Raikkonen's Lotus colleague Romain Grosjean is 33-1 for pole and Alonso, with Ferrari off-the-pace in practice and qualifying so far this season, at 40-1.
