Dominant England 8-11 for Old Trafford finale
ENGLAND took an unassailable 3-0 lead in their one-day series against Australia with an eight-wicket victory at Chester-le-Street
on Saturday and are 8-11 with Hills to triumph again in the fifth and final ODI at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
Steven Finn took four wickets as England restricted Australia to 200-9 and Ian Bell (69) led a comfortable chase, finished off by a 65-run stand by Jonathan Trott (64 not out) and Ravi Bopara (33 not out).
Michael Clarke's gold and greens, for whom Brett Lee and Shane Watson could be the latest injuries, are 11-10 to get on the board in Manchester.
Bell had been a standout 7-2 with Ladbrokes to top score for Alastair Cook's charges while David Hussey, who took the honours for Australia with 70, had been 6-1.
