Di Matteo cut again to be permanent Chelsea boss
ROBERTO Di Matteo’s chances of getting the Chelsea job permanently are growing with every winning result and the interim boss is now clear favourite to get the post on a permanent basis after the 1-0 Champions League semi-final first-leg victory over Barcelona.
The Italian, who was a 7-1 shot when Andre Villas-Boas was fired, is now best at 5-2 with bet365 and as skinny as 7-4 to take control of the team past the end of a season which could end memorably for the FA Cup finalists.
Jose Mourinho is 7-2 for an emotional return to Stamford Bridge and Laurent Blanc can be backed at 10-1, although Pep Guardiola has now drifted to 12-1 to swap Barcelona for the Bridge.
