Cool Pirlo 8-1 to be named Euro2012 MVP

ANDREA PIRLO was the coolest man in Kiev when he chipped in that
penalty against England and the Italian is now 8-1 with Coral and Hills to win the Euro 2012 Player of the Tournament.

The Azzurri playmaker, 100-1 ante-post, looks sure to go close if Italy are crowned European champions with Cesare Prandelli’s outfit 6-1 to lift the trophy.

First they must overcome Germany and bookmakers are in no doubt who is most likely to progress through to the final, with Italy 15-8 outsiders and Joachim Low’s men 4-9 to book a place in the final, which takes place on Sunday in Kiev.

Spain, who just shade favouritism from the Germans in the outright
market, are also 4-9 to qualify at the expense of Iberian rivals Portugal, who are rated 7-4 to progress in a game which could also be
pivotal to the Golden Boot and Player of the Tournament heats.
Cristiano Ronaldo is seen as most likely player to be named MVP at 4-1
and the Portuguese superstar is also 9-4 to walk away with the top
goalscorer honours with Germany’s Mario Gomez at 2-1.
