City out to 12-1 after Bernabeu heartbreaker
MANCHESTER CITY are out to 12-1 from 10-1 to win the Champions League after a heartbreaking 3-2 loss against Real Madrid.
A stunning match finished with City left devastated by a defeat which came about after a sensational climax with Cristiano Ronaldo crowned as the hero, scoring the winner on 90 minutes after Karim Benzema had equalised for Real Madrid after 87 minutes.
City twice led at the Bernabeu thanks to substitutes, first through Edin Dzeko - which was equalised by Marcelo - and then Aleksandr Kolarov put the Premier League champions back in front with 85 minutes on the clock before the late show.
Despite the agony, City are still odds-on to qualify at 8-13 with Hills, who are 6-5 about another early elimination.
Real Madrid are 4-1 to win the Champions League, while Arsenal can be backed at 20-1 following a gritty 2-1 victory away to Montpellier. Hills make Arsenal 2-5 to top their section and 1-2 to avoid defeat as Lukas Podolski and Gervinho goals saw the Gunners come from behind to take maximum points and it was mainly an excellent night for favourite backers.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored as Paris St-Germain beat Dynamo Kiev 4-1 and Porto won 2-0 away to Dinamo Zagreb. A late Robert Lewandowski goal saw Borussia Dortmund trump Ajax 1-0, although Milan’s shocking season continued with a goalless stalemate against Anderlecht. Schalke beat Olympiakos 2-1 and Malaga thumped Zenit 3-0.
