Captain Cook 9-2 to hit third straight ODI ton
ENGLAND ODI captain Alastair Cook is 9-2 with Hills for a third straight century on Friday after his 102 on Wednesday laid the platform once again for a second win on the spin over Pakistan their four 50-over game series. Although Steven Finn's 4-34 secured the 20 run success.
Cook's 137 and Steven Finn's 4-34 were the major factors in England's opening 120-run ODI triumph at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium and the Three Lions are 10-11 to wrap up the series with victory in the third match in Dubai on Saturday.
Boylesports, who go 12-1 that Cook makes it four tons on the trot, make England 5-2 to avenge their Test defeat by clean-sweeping Pakistan 4-0 the one-dayers and the hosts are 11-4 with Paddy Power to come back and draw the series 2-2. Pakistan are also 10-11 to win on Saturday.
And Hills go 9-4 that Cook's main partner-in-runs so far Ravi Bopara scores a third straight half-century in the series too. Boylesports offer x-x about four straight Bopara fifties.
However, Kevin Pietersen is short of runs and Boylesports offer 11-10 that he fails to reach 50 in either of the two remaining matches.
Hills make Cook 9-1 to be named man of the match for a third game in a row. Shahid Afridi is the 8-1 favourite with fab Finn at 14-1.
