Bent 4-1 for Euros spot despite bullish reports
DARREN BENT is still 4-1 with Hills to be in England’s Euro 2012 squad despite reports suggesting hewould recover from injury in time to be part of the tournament.
The Aston Villa forward has not played since injuring his ankle at
Wigan in February but he expects to be fit in time for the action in
Poland andUkraine.
However, it is still 1-7 that Roy Hodgson snubs Bent even though England have a striker shortage with Wayne Rooney suspended for the opening two matches in Poland and Ukraine.
Coral have cut Phil Jagielka (3-1 from 4-1) and Michael Carrick (4-5
from evens) to be in Hodgson's 23-man travelling party.
Carrick has been chopped following the news that Scott Parker is not certain to have shaken off an Achilles problem which has hampered his form and fitness over the past couple of months.
